Frequently Asked Questions
When and where is the convention?
Our 2025 Annual Convention will take place from October 13–16 at the Atlanta Marriott Century Center/Emory Area hotel, located at 2000 Century Blvd, NE in Atlanta, GA.
What day and time does it start?
The convention opens on Monday, October 13 at 3:15 p.m. If this is your first time attending, we encourage you to arrive early and join the new members’ meeting from 2:45–3:15 p.m.
What day and time does it end?
The convention concludes with the celebration of Holy Mass at noon at a local parish, followed by lunch at 1:00 p.m. for those who wish to stay. We also have a morning agenda on Thursday, which includes prayer, a speaker, and Mass.
I’ve attended the convention for many years; do I still need to register?
Yes, registration is important because it helps us update your contact information and get an accurate count for meals, materials, etc. While you must register online, you still have the option to pay by check or money order.
How much is the registration fee and what does it include?
The $500.00 registration fee includes your 2025–2026 Annual Membership, conferences, meals, and your ticket to the Good Shepherd Banquet. Be one of the first 50 to register using the code ANSH2025 and receive a $50.00 discount.
How do I make hotel reservations and what is the rate?
The hotel is offering us a special rate of $149.00/night (double or king). You can call 404-325-0000 and ask to be transferred to reservations (the group block name is NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF HISPANIC PRIEST). The quickest and easiest way to book is online [here]. The deadline to benefit from the special rate is Sunday, September 21.
Will transportation be provided from the airport to the hotel?
The hotel shuttle offers pickup and drop-off service from the Brookhaven MARTA station (public transportation), which connects directly to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport via the “Gold Line.”
What should I bring?
Bring comfortable clothing (October temperatures in Atlanta average a pleasant 73.2°F / 22.9°C during the day and about 53.8°F / 12.1°C at night), your alb for the daily celebration of Holy Mass, and formal clerical attire for the banquet. We will gift you a commemorative stole.
Any other requirements?
The Archdiocese of Atlanta, like all U.S. dioceses, requires a Letter of Good Standing for participation in our convention. Please emphasize that you are attending the 35th Annual Convention of the National Association of Hispanic Priests. The letter should be sent by mail (or email) to:

When is the banquet?
The Good Shepherd Banquet will be held at 8:00 p.m. at the hotel on Wednesday, October 15. The banquet is formal, so we recommend wearing a jacket and clerical shirt.
What is the theme of the convention?
This year’s theme is: Priests, Witnesses of Hope.
Will there be time to explore the city?
The board will provide two or three suggestions for places to visit, and an organized tour may be arranged.
Unfortunately, I have to cancel. Can I get a refund?
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the ANSH Office by September 21, 2025. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after that date. Refunds (minus a $25 processing fee) will be issued after the convention.
I can’t attend the convention this year; how can I continue to support ANSH?
You can join or renew your membership by completing the registration form and selecting the second registration option: “Membership Only.” The $100 annual membership fee greatly supports ANSH’s mission. Additionally, you or a group from your parish or ministry can send a donation of any amount by check payable to ANSH at any time to the ANSH office.
